Getting Started

New to Mane Match? Start here.

Creating an Account — Sign up with your email from the home page. Pick a password — 8 characters minimum, mix of upper and lowercase, plus a number. Takes about thirty seconds.
Setting Up Your Profile — After logging in, visit Settings to add your zip/postal code for distance-based search, and choose your preferred unit system (miles or kilometers).
Browsing Listings — Use the Swipe feature to discover horses, or Horses for Sale to filter by breed, discipline, price, and more.

Tips for finding and evaluating horses.

Swiping — Swipe right to open a listing for details, or left to pass. You can also use the buttons below the card.
Search Filters — Filter listings by breed, discipline, price range, age, temperament, location radius, and more from the Horses for Sale page.
Contacting Sellers — Each listing shows you how to reach the seller directly. Before you buy, go see the horse in person and get a pre-purchase exam done. That’s not optional — it’s how smart buyers protect themselves.
Distance & Location — Add your zip/postal code in Settings to see how far each listing is from you.

How to list and manage your horses.

Creating a Listing — Go to Sell a Horse and fill out the details — breed, age, discipline, price, temperament, and a solid description. Good photos and an honest write-up go further than anything else.
Photos & Videos — Free listings include up to 5 photos (10 MB each) and 1 video (100 MB). Premium listings get 20 photos (20 MB each) and 5 videos (500 MB each).
Managing Listings — Use your Dashboard to edit, update, or remove your listings at any time.
YouTube Videos — You can also add a YouTube video URL to your listing for additional media without using your upload quota.

Boost your listing's visibility.

What's Included — Premium listings appear in the Spotlight section on the home page, get increased upload limits, and stand out in search results.
How to Upgrade — You can upgrade any listing to Premium from your Dashboard. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

Manage your preferences and security.

Changing Your Password — You can update your password from the Settings page after logging in.
Unit System — Choose between miles and kilometers in Settings. This affects all distance displays across the site.
Dark Mode — Toggle dark mode from the user menu (cowboy hat icon) in the top-right corner.

How we keep the marketplace safe.

Reporting a Listing — If you see a listing that violates our policies, you can report it directly from the listing page.
Takedown Requests — Need a listing removed? Submit a formal request through our Takedown Notice page. All requests are reviewed manually within 48 hours.
Privacy — We take your privacy seriously. Read our full Privacy Policy to learn how we handle your data.
Terms of Service — Review our Terms of Service for the rules governing use of Mane Match.
